The CHOPIN Salons take place at the historic Miami Beach Woman's Club. The second salon will include a performance with Eric Lu, first prize winner of the 9th National Chopin Piano Competition. Eric’s program will feature works by Frédéric Chopin, showcasing the artistry that earned him international acclaim.

About Eric Lu
Eric Lu, First Prize winner of the 9th National Chopin Piano Competition, gained international recognition as a Laureate of the 2015 International Piano Competition in Warsaw at age 17. He went on to win First Prize at The Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018, the first American to do so since Murray Perahia. A recipient of the 2021 Avery Fisher Career Grant, he has also been a BBC New Generation Artist and is an exclusive Warner Classics recording artist.

Eric has performed with top orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, London Symphony, and Boston Symphony, under renowned conductors such as Riccardo Muti and Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. He appears regularly at major venues, including Wigmore Hall and Warsaw's "Chopin and His Europe Festival."

His acclaimed recordings, including Schubert Sonatas and Chopin's 24 Preludes, affirm his status as one of today's finest interpreters. A Massachusetts native born in 1997, Eric is a graduate of the Curtis Institute, where he studied with Robert McDonald, Jonathan Biss, and Dang Thai Son.
